LaGuardia:
Exit airport; follow signs to New York
City/Manhattan via Grand Central Parkway West. Take Grand Central
Parkway to Triboro Bridge (toll bridge). Cross Triboro, bearing right
for access to Manhattan. Take FDR Drive (South) to 63rd Street Exit.
Turn left on Fifth Avenue. Turn Right onto 57th Street. The hotel is
located at 101 West 57th Street (on the right side) between 6th and
7th Avenue.
JFK:
Take Route 678 North (Van Wyck Expressway) to Grand
Central Parkway. Take Grand Central Parkway toward Manhattan to Triboro
Bridge (toll bridge). Cross the Bridge, Take the FDR Drive (south)
to 63rd Street Exit. Turn left onto Fifth Avenue. Turn right onto
57th Street. The hotel is located at 101 West 57th Street (on the
right side) between 6th and 7th Avenue.
NEWARK LIBERTY:
Take new Jersey Turnpike I-95)
North to Exit 16E. Take Lincoln Tunnel in Manhattan. Follow
West 40th Street sign, make right onto West 40th Street.
Make a left turn onto Sixth Avenue. Make a left turn onto
57th Street. The hotel is located at 101 West 57th Street
(right side) between 6th and 7th Avenue.
DIRECTIONS FROM NEW JERSEY
Take Route 3 East
to the Lincoln Tunnel. Upon exiting the Tunnel, bear left
and proceed north to 42nd Street. At 42nd Street, turn left.
Take the first right onto 10th Avenue. Stay on 10th Avenue
until you reach 56th Street. Turn right on to 56th Street.
Stay on 56th Street till you reach Sixth Avenue. Turn left
onto Sixth Avenue. The first light after only one block
will be 57th Street; turn left at 57th Street. The Hotel
is located just in from the corner of Sixth Avenue and
57th Street, at 101 West 57th Street (on the right-North-side),
between 6th and 7th Avenues.
OR
From New Jersey North of the GW Bridge
Take the George
Washington Bridge to New York City, to the Henry Hudson Parkway
(which is also the West Side Highway) South until the 56th
Street exit, which will be on the left. At the end of the
exit there is a traffic light and the entrance to 56th
Street will be straight ahead. Stay on 56th Street until
you reach Sixth Avenue. Turn left onto Sixth Avenue. The
first light after only one block will be 57th Street; turn
left at 57th Street. The Hotel is located just in from the
corner of Sixth Avenue and 57th Street, at 101 West 57th
Street (on the right-North-side), between 6th and 7th Avenues.
DIRECTIONS FROM CONNECTICUTVia Interstate 95
Take 95 South to the Cross Bronx Expressway to the last exit
in New York (stay to the right when approaching the George
Washington Bridge so as not to miss the exit). Signs will
say West Side Highway South/181st Street. Follow ramp onto
the highway, which runs along the Hudson River. Exit at
56th Street. Stay on 56th Street until you reach Sixth
Avenue. Turn left onto Sixth Avenue. The first light after
only one block will be 57th Street; turn left at 57th Street.
The Hotel is located just in from the corner of Sixth Avenue
and 57th Street, at 101 West 57th Street (on the right-North-side),
between 6th and 7th Avenues.
Via the Merritt Parkway
Take the Merritt Parkway South to Rt. 684 South to
the Hutchinson River Parkway South. Take the exit for
the Cross County Parkway going West to the Saw Mill
River Parkway South. The Saw Mill becomes the Henry
Hudson Parkway in New York City. Proceed South on the
Parkway until the 56th Street exit, which is an exit
on the left. The entrance to 56th Street is at the
traffic light at the end of the exit. Stay on 56th
Street until you reach Sixth Avenue. At Sixth Avenue
turn left. The first light after only one block will be
57th Street; turn left at 57th Street. The Hotel is
located just in from the corner of Sixth Avenue and

DIRECTIONS FROM LONG ISLAND:Via LIE
Take the Long Island Expressway West (#495) to the Midtown
tunnel. Follow signs for the West Side; go West on 35th
Street (not 34th) to Sixth Avenue, turn right and proceed
north to 57th Street; turn left onto 57th Street. The first
light after only one block will be 57th Street; turn left at
57th Street. The Hotel is located just in from the corner of
Sixth Avenue and 57th Street, at 101 West 57th Street (on the
right-North-side), between 6th and 7th Avenues.
Alternate Via Grand Central Pkwy
Take the Grand Central Parkway to the Triborough Bridge,
take the exit to Manhattan and follow signs for the Franklin
Delano Roosevelt (FDR) Drive South. Exit at 63rd Street;
proceed West to Park Avenue, and turn left onto Park Avenue.
Proceed South to 57th Street, turn right onto 57th Street
and go West on 57th. The Hotel is located at 101 West 57th
Street (on the right side) just across the intersection with
6th Avenue.
DIRECTIONS FROM UPSTATE NEW YORK AND THE NORTH
Coming from points west of the Hudson River:
Take the NY State Thruway south to the Palisades
Parkway South to the George Washington Bridge to
Manhattan. Take the Henry Hudson Parkway South (signs may
say "Parkway South" to 56th Street Exit. Take 56th Street
Exit. Take 56th Street to Sixth Avenue, at Sixth Avenue
make a left. The first light after only one block will be
57th Street; turn left at 57th Street. The Hotel is located
just in from the corner of Sixth Avenue and 57th Street, at
101 West 57th Street (on the right-North-side), between 6th
and 7th Avenues.
Coming from the North from Westchester and the East
side of the Hudson River:
Take the Saw Mill River Parkway South, or take the
Taconic Parkway South into the Sprain Brook South to
the Cross County Parkway West to the Saw Mill River
Parkway South. The Saw Mill River becomes the Henry
Hudson Parkway South. Take the Henry Hudson South to the
56th Street Exit, Take 56th Street across town till Sixth
Avenue, and turn left onto Sixth Avenue. The first light
after only one block will be 57th Street; turn left at
57th Street. The Hotel is located just in from the
corner of Sixth Avenue and 57th Street, at 101 West
57th Street (on the right-North-side), between 6th
and 7th Avenues.
HOTEL PARKING GARAGE
The Hotel's parking garage is located at 65 West
56th Street, just before Sixth Avenue going West on
56th Street. The Buckingham's guests receive a
discounted rate of $30 per 24 hours, tax included.
BY SUBWAY:
The N, R, Q and W trains are located on the Northeast Corner of
57th Street and 7th Avenue.
The F train is located on 57th Street and 6th Avenue
on either the Northeast or Northwest Corners.
The B, D and E trains are located on 7th Avenue and 53rd Street.
The A, B, C, D, 1 or 9 trains are located at 59th Street
(Columbus Circle).
BY BUS:
The M1, 2 3, and 4 buses run on 5th Avenue. They are downtown buses.
The M6, and 7 buses run on 7th Avenue. They are downtown buses.
The M5, 6 and 7 buses run on 6th Avenue. They are uptown buses.
The M10, 20 and 104 buses run on Broadway (runs downtown) and
8th Avenue (runs uptown)
The M31 and 57 are cross-town buses running on 57th Street.
