This hotel is great. We stayed for New Year and found the location perfect, the staff more than helpful, the room lovely. The Hotel is perfectly situated to visit all the sites and has a subway station at the end of the block. Central Park is literally just around the corner. The room was good as well - we had a room away from the road so it wasn`t noisy - we had a big TV, CD player, newspaper every morning, daily (and excellent) maid service, adequate kitchenette and bathroom and lots of storage space. It wasn`t the most glamourous room in the world but it was exactly what we wanted. The only gripe we had was the very soft bed that dipped in the middle! We`ll definately stay at the Buckingham again when we go back to NY.
