New York City: Buckingham Hotel: "Gem in the city"

First time staying at the Buckingham what a surprise it was. The entrance is small and was a bit hard to notice, but the lobby gave a peaceful feel. The gentleman behind the desk was polite and upbeat, made up for the fact that there was no doorman or bellman to assist with luggage. He had great recommendations for places to eat close by, as there was no room service or restaurant associated with the hotel. In the morning the young lady at the desk was pleasant and quick with directions. She knew which train to take and where to catch. The room was quiet and clean, and very spacious. The only thing i think was missing is a hook in the bathroom. I did not utilize the full kitchen but enjoyed the coffee. Although this time was business related I will be back for a special night out.
