NEW YORK’S BUCKINGHAM HOTEL OFFERS A HIGH FLYING, TREE LIGHTING

NEW YORK, NY: November 2006 – If you’ve seen one Christmas tree, you’ve seen them all—until now.  Manhattan’s Buckingham Hotel is offering big spenders an exclusive $75,000 holiday gallivant through the streets of New York City.  Located in the midst of the Big Apple’s winter festivities, the Buckingham Hotel is the perfect location to kick off the holiday season with a bang!

On the morning of November 29^th, one lucky pair will be whisked away in a winter white vintage Rolls Royce from any origin in the New York metro area to the Buckingham Hotel’s Martinelli Penthouse where they will be greeted with their very own miniature replica of Rockefeller’s Center Christmas Tree, which will be perfectly framed by penthouse’s 360 degree views of the stunning midtown Manhattan skyline.

After taking some time to unwind, the couple will hop back in the Rolls and make their way down to Rock Center Café where they will delight in a private lunch of a menu of their own making (menu must be submitted previously), while overlooking the glistening ice of The Rink at Rockefeller Center.  The duo will then enjoy a one-on-one skating session, as they will be the only two people on the ice—as well as the last to skate before The Rink closes in preparation of the tree lighting later in the evening.

The next stop for these jetsetters will be a heliport on the east side of Manhattan where an impressive Bell helicopter with plush leather seating awaits to take them on the next phase of their journey.  But before they go, Chef Ed Brown of the dazzling Sea Grill will personally deliver an array of white truffle dishes for the couple to snack on while flying high above the city.  The pair will then embark on a three hour air tour of the island and the surrounding areas, culminating with a bird’s eye view of the renowned lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree.

Upon landing, the two will once again be reunited with their Rolls Royce that will return them back to the Buckingham Hotel.  Only this time, Santa will have made an early stop to their Penthouse dwelling, leaving behind a Swarovski Rhodium and Crystal Rockefeller Tree 2006 pin, as well as a replica of the golden Prometheus statue that guards the ice of The Rink at Rockefeller Center.  This take-home statue is crafted of bronze and gilded by hand in 24K gold leaf finish.

The couple will then have a chance to get some much needed rest as visions of sugarplums run through their heads in the luscious layout of the Buckingham’s penthouse.
